James S. Lewis, MD
Dr. James Lewis, is a fellowship trained corneal sub-specialist. He is a graduate of Princeton University and Thomas Jefferson Medical College where he won awards in Ophthalmology and Research. He served as chief resident during his third year at Duke University Eye Center where he was offered a faculty position. Instead he traveled to South Australia for sub-specialty training in Corneal and Refractive Surgery. He returned in 1990 and became Director of Cornea and Anterior Segment Surgery at Hahnemann University, in Philadelphia. He also serves as Corneal Consultant to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry Salus University.

Patrick McManamon, OD
Dr. Patrick McManamon is an associate at James S Lewis MD Ophthalmology. He completed his optometric degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) in 2017 and pursued his residency training under Dr. James Lewis and in the Specialty contact Lens department at The Eye Institute of PCO. During this time, Dr. McManamon worked with hundreds of patients with keratoconus and ectatic corneal disease to fit contact lenses and manage their conditions. Dr. McManamon has lectured on crosslinking, scleral contact lenses, and keratoconus to both colleagues and students, and he has published case reports on contact lens management of these conditions. He is excited to provide corneal collagen cross linking to his patients to help them preserve their visual function and address their contact lens needs. Dr. McManamon assists with pre and post operative care, gas-permeable contact lenses, and scleral contact lenses in the treatment of keratoconus.
